Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients promptly and courteously.
• Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk calendar.
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with medical staff and providers.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding office policies and procedures.
• Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed.
• Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Front Desk Associate preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and scheduling software.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical office training is a plus.
