Purpose: The Aviation IT Director manages and maintains the IT resources at Ethnos360 Aviation. This role ensures that Ethnos360 Aviation can accomplish its purpose of advancing the spread of the Gospel through aviation to see a thriving church for every people.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the individual in this role to coordinate with the IT Division Function groups to fulfill the following IT functions at their center: Backup & Recovery, Cloud Services, Communication Tools, Endpoint Management, Help Desk, Identity Management, Networking, and Server & Data Center. They are also responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of Finance, Leadership, Project Management, and User Training at Ethnos360 Aviation.

• Must have a degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field, A+ certification, or equivalent work experience • 2+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure, supervising technology teams, and overseeing information technology projects • Experience in office administration, including vendor and contract management operations • Strong Christian who is part of a local church community and who agrees to Ethnos360's doctrinal statements • Ability to take initiative and solve problems • Willing to contribute ideas to assist in process improvement and be an approachable team player • Prior experience in using IT help desk systems • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and services • Experience maintaining and repairing computers • Knowledge of Windows clients and servers • Experience with Microsoft Office and Office365 • Experience with managing networking equipment • Experience with network and phone cabling • CompTIA Network+ certification (Preferred) • Cisco specific certifications (Preferred) • Microsoft certifications (Preferred) • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred or can work toward attaining (Preferred)
Purpose
Facilitate the church planting work of Ethnos360 missionaries and indigenous churches in some of our most remote locations.

Requirements

An Airframe Certificate, AME or ICAO equivalent. Two years electronics or avionics schooling or equivalent. FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL). National Center for Aerospace & Transportation Technologies (NCATT) – recommended. International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET) – recommended. One year experience in avionics, including installations, troubleshooting and bench repairs.
Missionary Aircraft Maintenance Specialist or AME
Our maintenance specialists maintain Kodiaks and Robinson R66s serving the church planting ministries of Ethnos360 and its affiliates. They ensure that the aircraft are in compliance with Ethnos360 Aviation and local country standards.
Requirements

Aircraft mechanic certificate (A&P, AME or ICAO equivalent). A minimum of two years of general aviation maintenance experience is required, with an IA preferred. The curriculum at Ethnos360 Aviation in McNeal, AZ, will provide further specific R66 helicopter and Kodiak maintenance training.
Pilot / Mechanic
Our pilot/mechanics fly and maintain R66s to support church planting teams. Meeting transportation needs includes flying medevacs; bringing supplies, equipment, medicine, food, mail, etc.; and encouraging church planters in their ministry.
Requirements

Commercial Helicopter Pilot Certificate, 500 hours PIC in helicopters, flight instructor rating recommended. In addition, the helicopter pilot/mechanic will need a mechanic certificate (A&P, AME or ICAO equivalent) and one year of general aviation maintenance experience. Being both a pilot and mechanic is preferred for the greatest opportunities for service. The curriculum at Ethnos360 Aviation in McNeal, AZ, will provide flight training in a Robinson R66, as well as provide specific R66 maintenance training. We suggest that pilot/mechanic candidates begin flight training before age 30.
Pilot / Mechanic (Fixed‑Wing)
Our pilot/mechanics fly and maintain Kodiaks to support church planting teams. Meeting transportation needs includes flying medevacs; bringing supplies, equipment, medicine, food, mail, etc.; and encouraging church planters in their ministry.

In addition, the pilot/mechanic will need a mechanic certificate (A&P, AME or ICAO equivalent) and one year of general aviation maintenance experience. Being both a pilot and mechanic is preferred for the greatest opportunities for service. The curriculum at Ethnos360 Aviation in McNeal, AZ, will provide advanced STOL training on short runways in mountain environments using fixed‑wing aircraft, as well as type‑specific training in a Kodiak simulator. We suggest that pilot/mechanic candidates begin flight training before age 30.
Helicopter Pilot
Our helicopter pilots fly Robinson R66s to support church planting teams. Meeting transportation needs includes flying medevacs; bringing supplies, equipment, medicine, food, mail, etc.; and encouraging church planters in their ministry.

Fixed‑Wing Pilot
Our airplane pilots fly Kodiaks to support church planting teams. Meeting transportation needs includes flying medevacs; bringing supplies, equipment, medicine, food, mail, etc.; and encouraging church planters in their ministry.
