About the Role: As a Sterile Processing Specialist at Tekgo, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patient care. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that medical equipment is kept clean, decontaminated, and properly sterilized.

Job Details:

• M-F shifts available for local candidates and travelers.
• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $26 to $35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment efficiently.
• Thoroughly clean and sterilize medical instruments.
• Inspect all equipment for any signs of damage.
• Package and prepare supplies for sterilization.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Sterile Processing Certification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity.
